Well folks, in case you did not know, WordPress has a tracking system for their blogs. That means I can tell how many people have visited in a day and sometimes where they have came from. For example: if you have a wordpress blog and you are signed in, then decide to come visit me – I can see who you are. Sometimes I even get an email address from random people who have posted comments.
And a few times, I have seen something called “next”. At first I thought this was people working the Google on the Internet Machine looking for the tag ‘next’. But I never tag ‘next’ on my blogs.
Tonight, yes it’s Friday night and that’s a whole ‘nother blog, I decided to link back to a ‘next’. Who is ‘next’ you might be asking…I think ‘next’ is a feature of wordpress to explore other posts but who ‘next-ed’ me I’m hoping is not.
The blog title featured a foreign name with the subtext, “A Terrorist Blog”. The ‘blog’ consisted of links, no actually text, from what I could tell were in Arabic. My first thought was – is my government tracking this? Can they see that I linked to ‘a terrorist blog’? Will they come after me? This may sound alarmist to many but I don’t trust my free country and I have a past that although is not scandalous would not allow my future spouse to be a presidential candidate.
2nd thought was…what the f%$^&$#@! is this? Some kind of terrorist spam? I mean really, that’s what it looked like. And what does that even mean?
I met someone today whose hippy parents who gave her brother an Arabic name. Turns out he also has a private pilot’s license and, surprise, surprise, he was investigated recently.
I tend not to get too into politics but did anyone else hear that they are going to re-release Rambo in the theaters?
This may come off as abstract as a late Friday night post can, but, what the hell is going on? I never feel sure…
